Downtown Columbia has some really cool places to photograph but you have to know where to look. There is a popular place for weddings, 701 Whaley st, but a lot of people do not know that you can go there other times of the week. I had the opportunity to photograph a recent graduate just before COVID hit and shut down everything. She was also requesting to expand her modeling portfolio and we got some really nice shots during her session. Occasionally I do go on location by request and new places always make for interesting photos. We got to try a few new things and used surroundings to add a few elements we wouldn’t normally have in studio. We really got a lot from this session but I won’t post them all here.
