Sometimes things are better left to the imagination, subtlety, mystery all increase the interest of a portrait. When I can capture a personality and cover up parts of an image to leave the imagination open, I can do anything. It is amazing how people can be shy and timid in the beginning but blossom into great beauty by the end of the session. When nothing is given away, everything is much more intriguing.
