Columbia SC Photographer | Stunning Mother and Child Photography with Newborn
Don’t ever think that your newborn session won’t turn out beautiful due to baby crying. Something beautiful can always come from seeing the bond between mom and baby. I had the most stunning images come from a session where baby had an upset tummy. Poor little guy was having a rough time. He was a few weeks old, still tiny and precious but simply wanted momma for comfort. I was very happy to have gotten these memories for her.
When I get mom and her babies (of all ages) into the studio, something magical happens. At first, she is a little nervous but quickly becomes calm and slips into a joyful place of love. She remembers that these photos will be something to treasure for the rest of her years. The kids warm up too, sometimes it takes some positive peaceful energy depending on the ages. Older kids are so fun because I can joke with them and pull genuine expressions. All ages have a great time in my studio. I keep it lighthearted and exciting. We really want to create a fresh, authentic, unforced look in these images. We take breaks if we need to and make this a really fun experience.
