Columbia SC Photographer | I Am a Little Obsessed

It's confession time, I am more than a little obsessed with makeup. I personally have an Ipsy subscription and I LOVE it. I am not gonna lie, I have more makeup than should be legal. If you walked in to my bathroom, your jaw would hit the floor because I have 4,325 makeup bags ( ok, maybe that's a little exaggeration, maybe not) and I really cannot part with any of them. So, when you subscribe to Ipsy, you get five different products and a different cute bag every single month. I can't stop. I have been using their service since 2015 and it is addictive. A lot of you know that I offer hair and makeup service in my studio and yes I do use some of these products for my clients if my professional hair and makeup person is not available. I get to try name brands such as Pacifica, Smashbox and Tarte plus many others. Honestly, I do come across items that are not really my thing but so many of them are wonderful, it's worth it.It is like getting a shiny pink present in the mail each month. I don't have to waste money on cosmetics because I get to sample all these first. I only pay 10.00 per month for five pieces of makeup so I am very happy. I can use anything that is not my color in my studio! That's a win win.

I have so many friends that sell Senegence, they are going to kill me but it's ok because I will be blogging about that next week.

My hands down most favorite mascara has been Makeup Forever Excessive Lash. I was ready to try something new so, I recently ordered some new mascara from Thrive Cosmetics that is supposed to not only make your lashes grow but add fibers to them to make them fuller. And that's not all, it's hypoallergenic and opthalmologist tested which is important to me because my eyes to get itchy and watery when I use something full of chemicals. I have not gotten it yet but I am excited to try and see if this will move to my new number 1 slot. I did receive their eyeliner which has a semi permanent pigment that will not smear or wash off for at least 24 hours. It has done a pretty great job so far!

In the meantime, I could not help but photograph a couple pieces of makeup from ipsy because, hey, that's what I do, photograph things :)
